March 8 - bother 悩ます
If something bothers you, it worries, annoys, or upsets you.
What kinds of things bother you when you are speaking
English? What can you do when that thing happens?
Here are some of my ideas:
Does it bother you when someone interrupts you?
Say to the person,
“Please let me finish what I was saying.”
Does it bother you when you can’t remember English words?
Tell the other person, “I can’t remember the English word,
can you help me, how do you say…. (and give an example here,
not the Japanese word - unless the person speaks Japanese)?”
Does it bother you when someone speaks too quickly?
Say to the person, “Please speak more slowly.”

何かがあなたを”bother (=悩ます)”するということは、
それがあなたを心配させたり、イライラさせたり、
困らせているということです。英語を話すとき、
どのようなことがあなたを悩ませますか？
そんなとき、あなたに出来ることは何でしょう？
私のアイディアはこうです：
・誰かがあなたの話を中断したとき、
それはあなたを悩ませますか？
そういう場合、こう対処しましょう：
“Please let me finish what I was saying.”
（私の話が終わるまで待って下さい）
・英語を思い出せないとき、それはあなたを悩ませますか？
そういう場合は、相手にこう対処しましょう：
“I can’t remember the English word, can you help me,
how do you say….? ”
（単語が思い出せないのですが、○○は何と言うのでしょう？）
・話相手の早口は、あなたを悩ませますか？
その場合、こう対処しましょう：
“Please speak more slowly.”
（もう少しゆっくり話して下さい）
